Goodhaven Farms is located in the West Palm Beach area of South Florida. Margaret's specialty is portraits of horses sculpted in porcelain clay then fired and painted to resemble a fine work of bronze. Margaret has also found success painting, in oils, her interpretation of win photos or action shots of your favorite horse.
Sculptures: $300. The most popular pieces are 7" to 8" tall a bust that includes the shoulder neck and head, with or without a bridle. The horses name is sculpted on the base of the neck. These are mounted on 6x8 cherry base with felt bottom. Bronzes in personal editions can be special ordered if numerous copies of one horse are desired these start at $1500 per head, prices depend on size of order and foundry rates.
Trophies: $15. for 6 x 8 wood-like plaques with custom made design. $35 for 8 x 10 wood-like plaques with custom design. All plaques can be upgrade to natural wood and some color variations are available. Call for details. No minimum required.
Oil Paintings:
$300 for 18" X 24" oil on canvas of headshot.
$500 for an 18" x 24" action full body from win photo.
Ordering: I will need photos of your horse. A $100 deposit. All work is satisfaction guaranteed. You will be sent photos of the finished work and balance plus shipping charges will be due before piece is sent. Most pieces can be done in 4 weeks but depending of time of year 8 weeks may be needed.
